“Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star Jason Segel is looking to leave his Los Angeles home in the hip Los Feliz neighborhood. The delightful dwelling is up for grabs for $2.75 million, Variety reported.
The producer, actor, and screenwriter snapped up the 1920s Mediterranean from street artist and activist Shepard Fairey in 2016 for $2.25 million.
With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the sunny residence offers 2,523 square feet of space and is loaded with architectural details, such as arched doorways, steel-framed windows, and painted tile.
With a formal dining area that opens to a patio, the newer blue kitchen also includes a hand-painted banquette for a breakfast area.
Upstairs, a spacious master bedroom comes with an adjacent room for a sitting room or office. The space opens to a lovely terrace.
A fourth guest suite on a separate floor comes with its own entrance, and shares a patio with a bonus space for an office or artist studio. The private grounds also include an outdoor kitchen and dining area.
The star of “How I Met Your Mother” has become quite the real estate aficionado. Last year, he picked up a posh property in Pasadena for $4.255 million. The 100-year-old renovated residence on a half-acre includes five bedrooms, a gym, and a pool and spa.
Before owning this Mediterranean marvel, Segel had another smaller space in Los Feliz, which he sold in 2016 for $1.525 million. He bought the extensively renovated 1930s abode in 2015 for $1.4 million from the writer Joel Stein.
When not buying and selling properties, the 40-year-old has starred in a multitude of roles, including “Despicable Me,” “I Love You Man,” and “The End of the Tour.”
